Roof Restoration is the most cost-effective and proactive solution to prolong the life of an existing roof. Restoration of a damaged or deteriorated roof is done with an elastomeric coating. Elastomeric coatings are a fluid-applied material that when completely dry, cures and bonds to the substrate but remains flexible and resilient accommodating movement, contraction, and expansion of the structure beneath. Our bright white coatings exceed ENERGY STAR requirements for reflectivity and emissivity. White coatings contribute to a reduction in interior building temperatures by lowering the surface temperature of the roof. Because of this, elastomeric coatings reduce the amount of expansion and contraction eliminating stress and premature failure in a roof system. Polyurethane foam, metal, asphalt, EPDM, and single-ply membranes are all potential candidates for the restoration process. Elastomeric coatings are also clean and aesthetically pleasing.

The Restoration Process is Efficient with Minimal to No Interruption on Facility Operations
First, the facility is power washed removing loose sediment and debris.
2. Rust Inhibitor Primer Applied (if needed)
Next, rust inhibitor primer is used to discontinue further deterioration.
3. Hybrid Moisture Cure Urethane Sealer
Later, a hybrid moisture cure urethane sealer is applied over any problem areas such as seams, fasteners, and penetrations.
4. Reflective Coating is Applied Over the Entire Roof
Lastly, the white, reflective coating is applied over the entire roof, protecting the underlying material from heat, moisture, and damaging UV radiation.
